Founder - Dr. Kalyan Kumar Das

In the nurturing hands of our beloved Founding Father, Dr. Kalyan Kumar Das, the Institute of Allied Health Sciences (now, BIAHS) came into existence. Driven by a deep-rooted empathy and a profound vision, he transformed a modest three-room center into a sprawling 5000sqft Institution, exactly as he had envisioned.

Hailing from the quaint village of Kalna in Burdwan District, West Bengal, Dr. Das intimately understood the struggles faced by the marginalized communities in accessing healthcare and education. Despite his humble beginnings, his academic prowess and foresight propelled him towards a mission of democratizing education and healthcare for all. The seeds of BIAHS were sown from this very noble purpose.

With BIAHS, Dr. Das sought to dismantle the notion of education being a privilege by making it accessible to the masses. By outfitting BIAHS with state-of-the-art equipment, modern facilities, and a rich repository of educational resources, the healthcare courses introduced were meticulously crafted to empower young minds coming from diverse backgrounds. This endeavor not only addressed the pressing issue of unemployment but also paved the way for a brighter future for the community at large.

Despite his untimely passing on 17th January 2023, Dr. Das is legacy lives on through BIAHS and its flourishing branches with successfully executed government projects to generate employment. As his brainchild continues to prosper, the Institute remains steadfast in its commitment to realizing his dream of a self-sustainable society, shaping a better tomorrow for all.
